The shop where my Z is (PrimeSpeed) says that one rod and piston (same cylinder) need to be replaced. The car has 90K miles and the engine is being rebuilt. My first option is to just replace them both with factory nissan parts. My second option is to replace all pistons with forged 87mm pieces. I spoke to someone at Z1 for a minute (to see if they had these in stock). He said that I really shouldn't replace the pistons with stock size Wiseco's because they should be larger than stock and the block overbored (unless it is brand new). My goals are ~380-400rwhp on 93 octane and stock turbos.
